Four persons have been arrested with a 6600 liter diesel bowser.
The police said that the raid was carried out by using a secret messenger based on information received by the police.
According to the inquiry made on the information that the diesel stock is being sold at a higher price, an agreement has been reached to buy a liter of diesel for 900 rupees by a strategic agent of the Meegoda Police.
Later, the police further mentioned that the two brokers who initiated the transaction brought the bowser to the area claiming that it was to a garment factory in Vateraka area of Meegoda, the driver of the bowser and his assistant were arrested.
